TATTOOING: Every Tattoo project is unique, and we can only give ballpark pricing until we have an approved design and details in front of us. There are many variables involved in pricing, including size, detail, location on the body and individual tattooer’s methods.
PIERCING: The price of your piercing includes a basic piece of high quality internally threaded F136 Titanium jewelry. For an additional fee, you may choose a piece of jewelry from the wide variety in our display, including synthetic and genuine gemstones, 18k gold jewelry and more.
APPOINTMENTS: Setting up an appointment in advance is always a good idea to avoid disappointment. We will always try to accommodate walk-ins, but the tattooers' availability will vary day to day. We will do our best to make it happen, but appointments are preferred.
The best way to set an appointment is to come into the shop with your ideas and any printed (i.e. not on your phone) references that you may have and our awesome counter people will set you up an appointment with the right tattooer for your project. This is especially important with a larger scale or custom piece. Although most tattooers will want to meet with you at this point if you are looking for a large scale piece or if they have questions about the piece, most often they are busy working with clients when you come in and will review the details of your project in turn.
Depending on the piece, some tattooers will create a drawing for you in advance of your appointment, but most often tattooers will have a design prepared for you at the time of your appointment, and/or draw your design right on your skin!
If it is not possible to come in to set your appointment, the next best thing is to send us an email at , with a brief description of your idea, including approximate size, location, color or black and grey, and attach any references you may have. We ask that you follow up the email with a phone call to make sure we received it, and we can then go over the details together.
DEPOSITS: Once an appointment date and time has been set, please be prepared to leave a deposit of $50 to secure your appointment. Over the phone we can accept a credit or debit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover) This deposit will be applied to the final cost of your tattoo; it reserves your time with your tattooer. If your piece requires multiple sessions, the deposit will be applied to your FINAL session.
PLEASE BE AWARE THAT YOU MUST GIVE US 48 HOURS NOTICE IF YOU NEED TO RESCHEDULE OR CANCEL THIS APPOINTMENT OR YOU WILL FORFEIT THIS DEPOSIT! SO PLEASE BE CERTAIN WHEN YOU MAKE YOUR APPOINTMENT! Additionally, you must CALL the shop if you need to reschedule or cancel; email requests cannot be accepted. Please keep in mind that we prefer CASH in the shop, so you will owe the remainder of the cost of your tattoo in cash. We do have an ATM inside our shop for your convenience.
A REMINDER: GOOD TATTOOS AREN'T CHEAP, AND CHEAP TATTOOS AREN'T GOOD!
PIERCING: Piercing is done on a walk-in basis. You may have to wait your turn, but the process is pretty quick.
TATTOOING: Your tattooer will explain their preferred aftercare procedure, as we each know how best to heal our style of tattooing. Be aware that to allow your new tattoo to heal properly you must keep it out of salt water, chlorine (pools, hot tubs), ponds, sand and strong, direct sun for approximately two weeks. You may shower; just don’t soak the tattoo for an extended period, as in the bathtub. Sunblock is good on a healed tattoo, but not a new one.
PIERCING: Our piercer will give you more specific healing instructions and a pamphlet to take with you, but some good general advice is that the healing of a piercing relies heavily on listening to your body. The most important things are to maintain regular hygiene during the healing process, maintain a healthy lifestyle to keep your natural healing abilities strong. If something seems uncomfortable to your new piercing, stop whatever it is that you’re doing.
Tipping your tattooer or piercer anywhere from 10-20% is customary for a job well done, and always much appreciated!
